That's what I would do if I had the buckets back there. There are spaces around my bench seat and I made containers out of cardboard and painted them flat black to match my upholstery and all my emergency stuff goes in there since there isn't much room in the jack area. Extra coil, fan belt, bottle jack, flashlight, tow rope, tools, etc. goes in those boxes.

07navi, your post was a great contribution to me, i have a bench second row. Thanks for taking the time and trouble to share your experience. It’s guys like you that are why I joined this forum... as opposed to other jackasses that take offense when they discover a different way of thinking.

I used black matboard for the tops of the boxes, glued the seams with Elmers, and taped them. The jumper cables and bottle jack etc is under the towel in the middle.
