Would love to hear your thoughts on the feel of this tow. Thats a long and potentially heavy trailer!
Sure, happy to share. The truck handles the trailer well when it comes to power and braking. However, even with the WDH dialed in the rear is still a little bouncy at times and the trailer would sway on the highway a bit when getting passed by big rigs. Admittedly I don’t have the best hitch (it’s a Curt with sway control) so I recognize I could upgrade there and probably get better results. Also, when I last towed the trailer my truck was completely stock. I’ve since added the Hellwig rear sway bar and Moog end links (to help with sway), and I need to install the Sumo Springs (to help with some sag and bounciness). I’ll post an update in a couple of months after I take the trailer out of winter storage and see how the upgrades improved the tow.

We just bought a brand new Grand Design Imagine 2800BH last weekend (1/23). So far I have towed it home and then to storage with our 2020 Limited. Seemed to tow fine. We have the max tow package with the pro trailer back up assist.

still fine tuning hitch but fresh off of the lot! Grand Design 2800BH. And it tows just fine, equalizer 4 point is working well.
