In my younger days, I did all my own work, short of rebuilding engines or trannies. Now my heart limits my strength and endurance so I farm out almost everything. last couple of jobs I did were a coil pack and an alternator; both of which kicked my ass. I've been meaning to do my rotors, but I don't see surviving that...
and I do have access to a full shop; as retired military I can get on base to the 'craft shop' which is fully equipped, including a great set of lifts. It's a help, but it doesn't make up for crappy heart.
