Hey all, we live in Longview Wa. We currently have about a foot of snow. Our expy has been amazing in this weather. Snow and ice negotiated easily in either 4 x 4 auto or high. Havent needed low yet. Super happy with our 2011!!! We commute 58 miles to our business and it is back roads and hills with a mountain pass. Pretty sweet!

Hey! I live just down the freeway from you. This snow we're having is pretty awesome! I haven't ventured out yet but am dying to take the Expedition out for a romp in the snow.

The people who live back east or in the midwest are probably laughing at our foot of snow but for us it's quite a bit :).

Awesome snow for sure! Take your time since we have ice under the snow. Yep, people back east definately should laugh at us for schools cancelled for 1/4 inch of snow, or just the probability of it!

Not laughing too hard, 3-14" expected for my area on the way. I remember in '68, we were building igloos with 18" overnight snow. At least at my house we have plenty of goods, gas and big generator hooked up and waiting. Electric crews are working 16 hour shifts to repair what 1/4-1/2" ice has damaged. Trees will on the ground. Chainsaws are ready at this house both gas and battery powered. Gotta wax down my boots tonight.
Love the snow, like the blood of Jesus, covers all the garbage cans in our lives.

Just don't be over confident. We all learn sooner or later that 4 x 4's can go great in the snow but stopping and sliding is another story.

we had about six inches of snow over the weekend and I decided to take my 02 out for a stroll and I went to work in the snow Friday, the old truck did AWESOME!!! it didn't slip, or spin and I was driving 25 mph which is a safe speed for me and I had to give credit to my NITTO TERRA GRAPPLER G2 TIRES they were also awesome and I had a Hyundai Sonata pass me in the snow going down hill and he learned the hard way he went over a embankment.

We're pushing about 10" right now and snow hasn't stopped. I'm tempted to go out and play. It's like a ghost town on traffic cams. I don't think I've seen a single vehicle move on my road in the past 5 hours.
