I have a 2007 expedition with 17 in wheels I want to get a set of used 18 in wheels and the f150 seems like only ones I can find that are readily available, but I read somewhere certain years of the f150 wheels will require modifications of my axles , so what f150 years will bolt on with no mods, I found a set of from a 2020 f150 with like new tires and wheels for $600,
I live in Florida so I don’t need winter type tires.

LoL I'd love to get rid of my 18" wheels and get a set of raptor style 17" wheels.

On the rear of Expeditions running F150 wheels, the axle end (where the nut goes) sticks out just a tad bit, it will contact the center cap. You can saw a bit off the end of the axle at no danger to the axle or nut so the F150 wheel's cap will clear...pretty easy to do. I'd think you could probably use an air cutoff wheel and make quick work of it.

Just be sure to do it with the wheel/tire off, and use eye protection....metal in your eye will make you have a hell of a bad day.

They should be easily programmed, unless the batteries in them went bad. Then they'd have to be changed. A tire place can check them out for you, or you can buy a programmer. New monitors are about $40 each+.
