I put 285/70/17 BFGs on mine today. They fit great. A little less grocery getter. Thanks joe and JB for the inspiration. With new tires and new plasticky intake manifold it’s on the up.
Hopefully some cool wheels w some offset and 1-2 inches lift in the future.

I just finished installing new Motorcraft struts with a 2.5” lift today. Also installed 285/70/17 Nexen Roadian MTX Tires on 17x8 Ford steel wheels. Combined, this yielded me 4” of lift over the stock suspension.

Realnyker it looks awesome. Does it ride any better with new OEM struts, and have you had any issues with the 2.5 inch (Daystar?) lift? Nice work.

I didn’t realize how much I needed new struts until driving it with new ones. It’s a lot less “floaty” and boat like now. No issues with the lift (Supreme Suspensions) build quality or install. If you are in the market for new struts, OEM Motorcraft units are currently on sale for less than $50 each at RockAuto.com (where I bought mine). I thought it was too good to be true, but it’s legit.
