Yeah, was gonna say, the mechanic who swapped the engine must have used the older plugs.

I just bought my 08 Expedition. It’s build date is September 07. But the wild card really is that the previous owner had the motor changed about a year and half ago and supposedly it has about 40k miles on it now. I don’t know the source of the engine or if it had any of the upgraded or tsb recommendations or if it’s all stock to an early build 08. I’m swapping transmission now but after that I want to figure out if it has the bad roller followers, leaking gasket timing chain tensioner. To make it last another 10 years do I do a timing chain kit with all upgraded parts and high volume oil pump, or just change every 5,000 with Mobile 1 5-30 & motorcraft filter and pray it gives me a good long life?
