2017 Raptor Wheels

Sorry, by issue I meant sloppy sidewalls, rapid tire wear, etc. Best I can tell is C rated tires seem to be marginal for a 7800 gvwr vehicle.

I currently have E rated Michelins. The 10 ply sidewalls seem stiff. Since I need tires and am lifting it, the Raptor takeoffs peaked my curiosity.

What about the 20" chrome wheels that come on the King Ranch pick up trucks etc? They are nice and should fit the 3rd gen Expys.

Needed new tires. Found some old Raptor wheels and wrapped them in Falken Wild Peak AT3 285 70/17. Debating on cutting the axle for the center caps. 1/4" spacer won't work for these need at least a 1/2" spacer. Any one shave the axle and is it a good idea.

I've done it to my 2009 and 2014. No issues, Used an angle grinder, just be careful not to hit the threads of the lug studs.

Yeah, sawzall that axle end off and good to go. It won't hurt anything. Use eye pro if using a cut off wheel.

I'm envious. I want a set just like those. Where did you find yours?

I found the wheels on good old Craigs List for $600.00 been looking for a year. Update I also cut the axle used a sawszall it was pretty easy with the right blades.

I should be joining the Raptor wheel club soon. Discount Tire Direct made me an offer I couldn't refuse on the Voxx 20" 2017 Raptor replica wheels. They are on their way now. Will post pics once I get them installed. $717.00 + tax with free shipping seemed like a pretty good deal to me.

Finally delivered by FedEx today. Waiting for black lugs/locks to come in then it's to the tire shop to swap the tires/tpms over from stock wheels.
