Any Hubcentric Wheel Spacers .25-.33 of an Inch?

I don’t remember what the lug nuts on my 3rd gen look like, but I’m pretty sure they are lug centric. 1st gens I know are NOT.

I’d pull a lug nut off and see if it’s tapered. If it is, don’t worry about hub centric. The lug nuts center the wheel, not the hub.

Actually on the 3rd and 4th gens, they are centered via the hub. There's a lot of arguments, but if you look at stock wheels (Ford, the last decade at least) they all center on the hub, it's like this from mustangs up to trucks. Can't really say about the FWD stuff, I've been out of the game for a few years in terms of mechanic work as a day to day thing.

But unless your spacers have a hubcentric ring or whatnot I wouldn't run them. I'm actually pretty against spacers much more than half an inch anyway as I had one break on me earlier this year and ruin a wheel.

If you run spacers, at least look into longer studs and make sure they're of a high enough grade for their intended use. That was what happened to mine, shit grade studs. All but snapped off. Thank god and all that's holy in every religion and dogma that it happened in the yard and not on the road, you bet I still do...

Anywho, there's a thread here (might be on the Explorer forum, can't remember for sure) that someone had lug centric wheels on a newer Ford and had balance issues due to it. I'd stick with hubcentric stuff just to err on the side of caution. I'd be willing to run some amount of spacer on mine again provided I could use the stock studs or or at least get my own longer studs that were at least stock strength.
