Gee, really don't want to get into a ******* match with anyone!...But JR pretty much describes a 32' trailer loaded to the max...Regardless of weight, the wind shear force on a 32' X 9' "wall" of a trailer, going down the road at 60+ MPH, is really high, IMO (no engineer here)...The short wheelbase and weight of even a MAX EXPY would be overwhelmed easily...I just don't want to be on the same road as "that" guy!...

The side profile isn't really 32 feet. My trailer is 33' feet. Something like 3 - 5 feet of that is the part of the frame that sticks out beyond the living space along with the rear bumper. Also, the front is curved, so it's not presenting a full side profile to the wind. I've traveled from CA to TX and to FL, NM, and all over TX. I've driven in windy conditions, particularly in West Texas, between Houston and College Station, and in the Lubbock area. As others have noted, it handles fine if you slow down. I dropped my speed from 65 down to 55 - 60 and didn't have any issues with lane keeping or sway at those speeds in windy conditions. No one is immune from high winds, as even big rigs have been blown over. Obviously people need to use a measure of common sense when towing, no matter what tow vehicle they're using. But trailers these size are within the capability of the Expedition.

Those with HD tow package, was that a factory install or after market?

I have a 2018 XLT with standard tow package. Was hoping to get something like this - to much yes?

That's borderline too much for an Expedition Max with HD tow. That's a dry tongue weight it could be as much as 1000lbs on your tongue, easily overload the rear axle and over 25-26ft you'll be very prone to sway.

That's too much weight without the HD tow package. With the HD tow package it's at the limit. My trailer is exactly that size and spec and I'm constantly hitting the payload of the vehicle limit, not the tow limit, with just 2 adults and a large dog and that's with HD tow package.

Curious on which WDH you use. I have. Fastway E2 and get some sway when it is windy. Usually slowing down from 65 to 60 gets rid of it. I pull a GD 265BH (32.5 ft), 7995 lbs fully loaded.
