...when my Expedition is already level? 2008 XLT 4x4 - just measured wheelwell opening heights - and it's 34.5" front and MAYBE 34.75" rear. Surely that's not tall enough that there's already a leveling kit on it
already? How do I go about getting (keeping) it level and also adding another 1-2 inches of height?

Seems like every kit has an extra inch for the front..but I don't want a higher front than back.

Thanks...

But if you put a beam level on the running board or frame it will be lower in front. Ford, in their infinite wisdom, made the wheel wells lower in the rear than the front....so the gap is roughly the same from factory even though the front is lower.

The front was lowered to increase fuel efficiency. It also improves stability when carrying a load or towing. I don't like how it looks but would feel like a fool if I messed with it and rolled the thing in an accident.
