My Lincoln dealer did mine on Saturday along with the oil change. I have just over 30k and haven't heard any objectionable noises at start. Shifting has been fine or not any worse than it was before.

My 2018 had the update done two weeks ago. No issues with shift, etc...
I have not checked to see if the strategy code changed or not. Had dumped the 5 star tune a while back due to not happy with it when towing. Shift strategy sucked when climbing or descending.

Called a dealer here in Houston to schedule the 21B10 so I could get in on the August 30 deadline for the extended warranty and the dealer said these are on-hold and they have been instructed NOT to perform the update due to it causing shifting issues with the transmission.

I had my phasers R and R'd, under warranty. 2 days later I got the "recall" notification. When I called and talked to the tech to confirm that I didn't need to do the recall they explained that the recall was software update. He said he wouldn't recommend doing it yet. He didn't think it would work. 
they claim that the new parts put in are updated and should not fail mechanically as they have done in the past. just what I was told in July 2021. any thoughts would be appreciated.

I received a letter and update notification in Ford Pass to schedule service for the cam phasers. Three local Ford stores all said the update was only for the F150's and is on hold for the Expedition. I called Ford Customer Service and they confirmed it was not ready for my 2019 Expedition Max.
