Perfectly normal. Ours stopped working since we normally drive in the city all the time and the battery wears down a bit. It is a 2018 so we just put a new battery in it. Auto start/stop began working again with a fresh battery. Hate it!!!
Yea, all it gets is city driving usually. We are going to take it on a longer trip next week though. I hope the battery isn't going bad with only 4k miles.

Great design! Why would anyone leave that activated on a turbocharged engine?

Really? It's brand new. If the battery is going bad already I'll bring it to the dealer and have them warranty it.
Yea, it does seem poor. I have a 2020 Ram 1500 and it works flawlessly in that.

I wouldn’t worry about it, I bought one of the eliminators for around $100. You got it disabled for free!!
