Thank you, no estimated delivery date yet. Preliminary guesses are March 2022.

Need your help! Have an appt with dealer tomorrow to order a new 22 - thinking the Timberline with 501A high package in the green color - looks so cool and different. Wife wants the grey Stealth limited - both about the same price. What do you guys think? Not much off roading- just think it looks so great and nothing like it in that color on the market - AT4 only but engine much less powerful.

Let me know your votes! Have a 19 platinum with 4 months left on lease - should be perfect timing for the trade! Thanks for the reply’s in advance

Personally, I'd go with stealth. Timberline looks good, but I'm more partial to street look than off road look. Plus, timberline may take a handling hit due to off road suspension n tires. I would get her a stealth and yourself a at4 yukon xl.

What’s the saying? “Happy wife happy life”
I’m going sport tuned suspension myself, the most off roading I go are an one or two local unpaved roads or when the farmers market is in a field. Haha.

New here, about to order a 22. We are going with the green. Wife wants massiging seats so can’t do a timberline, but will be doing some upgrates over time.
Saw a timberline explorer today and sealed it. Beautiful and dark. Could pass for dark grey/black at night.

if you are in Irvine CA, drive by RSM ford and check out that explorer, it‘s on the corner

Thanks for the advice everyone. Ordered a timberline today with the 501A High package. With cargo maintenance package and removed start stop. They said most likely before March. They said they would work with me on the MSRP when it comes in. We will see. The residuals on the lease should be good for a new model in beginning of a model year. The rate factor might be high - probably won’t have any programs for a brand new model. They did say that ford told them - very limited quantities will be shipped to dealers as they still have a shortage of chips and raw materials. I was maybe going to also order a Bronco as well for my car - they stared at least 2 years maybe 3 if you want the Sasquatch package. Said no thanks. I was second in line for the order at this dealership. Good luck everyone and thanks

Some more comments they mentioned. They said they purposely did not market the release of the new one much based on the shortage of materials and chips and they did not want a repeat of the Bronco disaster.

They also mentioned the Ford rep for the region said most pre orders are for the stealth package and they expect that package to be by far the most sold. They also have very mow and limited pre orders based on the lack of marketing . Basically no one knows about it - unless they follow Ford and or forums. They expect a huge demand once on the lots and with limited quantities they expect most dealers will mark up huge!
