I found her first video that might have the pull out of the seats. Checking it now.

She only has four vids out so far and YES, with the exception of the the front passenger seat removal she did not document on video the removal of any of the back seats.
So I am still looking for someone who has documented how to accomplish it in a reasonable way.

I don't have a video and AllData doesn't seem to cover rear seat removal.

Removing the second row seats in my 2004 EB was rather easy. Pull that dang annoying trim that covers the front bolts, it kind of rotates off, and then 4 bolts for each seat. With my cordless impact it took longer to get the seats out the tailgate than it did to unbolt them.

I've never tried to remove the third row seats. I can't imagine it's much more difficult with the addition of the connectors for the motors.

Found some info that might help ya.

REAR SEAT - THIRD ROW

REMOVAL

CAUTION:

    • To prevent possible damage to the third row seat or the safety belts, make sure that the safety belts are not fastened when moving the seat to the load floor position.
  • Make sure that no objects such as books, purses or briefcases are on the floor in front of the third row seats or on the seat cushion before lowering the backrest(s).
NOTE:

  • The third row seat backrests need to be in the raised position for removal of the third row seats.
  • If a third row power-fold seat motor (if equipped) is inoperative and the backrest is locked in the down position, refer to Power-Fold Seat Motor.

OH WOW! What nice help I am getting from you folks and it is much appreciated. My 2004 EB according to what I find on the internet is worth approximately $3000. I find that hard to believe and think I am looking at the wrong links but just for reference I have a brand new $6000 motor installed in the rig and don't plan on selling but rather converting to a sleeper for a road trip. I just need more floor to ceiling space for it to be anywhere near comfortable. It would be nice to have a plexiglass bubble on top so I could standup for necessary night time functions. I am so excited about this help that I plan on using my android phone camera to document the steps of following the instructions above and posting a video on you tube to help others with this same dilemma. Of course I will link that here if it happens. I am 73 and this is a challenge. Does anybody want the seats? They are light brown in color like a tan. Also to Whybronco thank you very much and is this documentation available to me anywhere? Kudos to you sir for helping me realize I could actually accomplish this project without the use of dynamite.

EDIT: Just found the "ALLDATADIY (DOT) COM web site and joined for one month at $20. Having difficulty navigating through the intense detailed and vehicle specific info. Will come back to it later. I am going to use what I have here for now.

Update on project which is now completed will be made tomorrow. Tired now but only had to remove 4 bolts and one seat in order to accomplish my goal. Second row passenger side seat removal allowed for max floor to ceiling height where needed.
Took a bit of planning and scratching my skull while measuring but I think I made the right decision. Very little gainable space was neglected. More details tomorrow. Tired now.

Sounds like great progress. I'm happy to help. Good luck with your adventure.

I have spent quite a few nights sleeping the back of my Expy with a twin inflatable mattress. It fits perfectly, but I would also want more space for more than a couple nights at a time. It beats the heck out of a tent though.

Yep AllDataDiy is where I get my info from, but I didn't know they offered a 1 month deal. I pay $200 every 5 years for my families 4 vehicles. It helps that we have 2 of the same vehicle.
