I'm not sure if I have a limited slip. I have the tow package but it doesn't mention anything about an LSD. I also don't have any kind of LSD button. Do you know how I could check?
Has the trailer knob near the start button instead of the coin slots. Also has all 4 buttons that can be toggled that go around the drive select knob.

I have it on my 2019 2wd with tow package. ELSD is listed on my window sticker and I have the components on top of my differential. The ELSD was tied directly to tow package regardless of 2wd or 4wd from 2018 to 2020 model years. 2021 is when the ELSD was separated from the tow package and also not available on the 2wd’s.

Figured...that was dumb to take it off 2wd completely. It should be std on 2wd tbh, it would def help it in certain conditions.

Put as much cargo weight behind the rear axle and you’ll be surprised at the added traction the weight gives you. Like “Man Up” said, the police have used Vic’s for years without fail. I was surprised to see Crown Vic’s being used in Alaska on “Alaska State Troopers” show. They haul ass on horrible looking roads with those Vic’s. I don’t know what tires they are running but they sure do work.

This statement is false for the OP since he has a 2wd expedition. They don’t have drive select knobs.
Yes you're right! 4 button is for the 4WD tow package variants. Mind slipped that he was 2WD for a moment.

There should still be a rear lock diff button on the 2WD var, correct?

No lock button on the 2wd’s. I wish there was.

I have thought about buying the 4wd selector and plugging it in to see if it would give me the lock function. The plug is already there. I just don’t know what other errors may come from it.
