I KNOW I've read It before that someone posted about a squeaky rear cargo floor, but I searched and can't find the post on how they addressed it.

Has anyone else had the squeaky rear cargo floor issue fixed? Or if not, maybe know how to find that thread.....

Thanks in advance.

MY 2018 has 35,850 miles on it, and I'd like to fix this myself if its easy, or else throw it at the dealer for warranty before that expires. I parked it because of the nasty road salt anyway, so I have some time to try it myself first!

It could have been me, but I couldn’t find the thread either. I took it to the dealer and let them address it under warranty. I think they had to remove the bottom of the cargo area and put something between the metal floor and the cargo bins.

I hope nobody is waking up from the squeaks as they are sliding in or out!

That’s a good thread. I went around and around with my dealer about a year ago with this issue. Mine was definitely the plastic tray rubbing up against the metal body. The dealer repaired under warranty and all the write up said was “resealed the cargo area.” I think it’s because I keep so much stuff in that tray like a B&W hitch that it weighs it down and causes it to rub. Still hear it occasionally so I need to check the glass hatch next.

Could use cork tape, comes in a roll like duct tape and is sticky and can be doubled over to eliminate rubbing
