I've stripped the interior door handle assembly on the rear passenger side door. The part is now obsolete as far as I can tell. Anyone have any creative ideas? I may just get a next size up bolt, widen the hole on the handle and drive it in. What about a junkyard search? Is there a way to search junk yard parts on the internet? Thanks

Sorry, best I have right now, as I put the door back together. This part is the interior mechanism that the door handle actually bolts to. After many years of on and off the bolt hole has stripped out. Thanks.

You can try www.car-part.com and see if they list it, but probably not as it’s a pretty small part. They list the door latch but you might be able to find a place that has the assembly from the interior of the door handle.

Fixed it. Ended getting a new flange bolt, same diameter but .5 longer. With the door panel OFF you can get behind it with a closed end wrench(w a bit of masking tape to keep from losing it) and add a locknut. It makes taking the panel off and on a little more difficult but that's the price for having a solid door handle.
