I just found out my passenger halogen headlight assembly is cracked due to rocks and it has a lot of moisture inside. I'm buying a used headlight assembly on Ebay and I need to know how to remove the assembly without breaking any tabs. Does anyone has the factory diagram on the headlight?

On the 4th generation Expedition models, the bumper fascia and grille must be removed, to remove the headlamp assembly.

On my 2015 Expedition Limited, the headlamp assembly can be removed with a 10mm wrench and in about one minute.

Good luck.

For years we have added zero-deductible glass coverage to our car insurance policies. In my opinion, a worthwhile addition--especially when you consider the cost of windshield replacement. Even though headlights and fog lights are no longer glass, they generally would be covered.

I have StateFarm and they only cover windshield under comprehensive coverage. I have to pay $500 deductible if I need a new windshield or anything else. My windshield had a chip and I had to pay out of my pocket to repair it ($100) with Safelite.
