Plan pricing is a,d,x plan. Employees, friends of employees, dealer employees, some companies have fleet plans that get x plan, or if you are a stock holder. I am a stock holder and my company has a fleet plan. X plan saved me about 4K under sticker.

Wow nice.
Is there some minimum $ stockholding necessary ? I mean can I buy one (or a couple) F shares and get that pricing ?
If yes, can I get this plan after I already placed the order ?

One would assume that you had struck some kind of "deal" with the dealership prior to them placing the order. If so, was there a contract, or just a receipt for earnest money as a sign of good faith?

Owning stock requires a minimum amount and also a certain time period of ownership. The same time frame applies to members of partner organizations affiliated with Ford for X-Plan PIN (Mustang Club, Quarter Horse Association, etc.). Your best chance for an X-Plan PIN would be if you work for a Ford Partner or know a Ford employee or retiree...and then it would be up to the selling dealer as to whether they would honor it or not since you've already committed to the purchase.

O snap I didn't know this...thanks for the info. I've been a stock holder almost a decade.

Yes. I called around to see who would place an order at x plan. Some would only do MSRP and this one had no problem ordering it at xplan. They sell a vehicle, still making money on it and a happy customer. Xplan is still right above invoice. No need to negotiate and an easy process.
I have seen some on facebook saying they were able to get invoice, but that seems to be rare.

I signed a build sheet and put down 1k. The order even shows xplan in their order system vs retail so no room for games. My understanding is Ford actually reimburses some cost back to the dealer as well.

Think you need 200 shares or so for at least 6 months if you go that route. I bought some late 2020 to be able to get xplan in the future if needed. Turns out that stock was a winner too and up 250% since then, wish I bought more….
Either way they are getting some back on this purchase.

I ordered for 3% under invoice, so the deals are still out there if you’re willing to look. I also had a $3,500 PCO that will tack onto that.

That is a great deal!! I kept trying for a PCO but no luck.
around here msrp is good. Was cheaper to order a 22 then buy a off the lot 21. And used 2019’s are selling for 80-90% of sticker with 30,000+ miles.

That’s the reason we ordered as well. Found a ‘21 exactly like we wanted but it was $10k more than ordering. I had dealerships quote me MSRP to order and I just wasn’t going to do it. I would have waited before I was going to pay sticker. I’m driving an extra 2-3 hrs to get it, but that was an easy decision to save $6k.

Mustang Club of America offers X plan pin after 90 days of membership. It’s about $40 to join. Maybe a good investment if you are looking to buy.

I’d love to find closer to invoice in MN.
I did mustang club and xplan on my ‘22 order, can’t find anything better so far.

New member on here. Been browsing on here for a few weeks and found a lot info which helped finalize our order today.

Our 19 F250 6.7 recently gave her life to let everyone walk away uninjured after an accident on a freeway with our 15th month old in the backseat. Simply amazed and thankful how this aluminum works.

Now that we’ve been in a 20 expedition rental for the last few weeks, we knew it was a good time for a change. Only tow a few times a year local and below capacity so the truck was somewhat underutilizied and as a daily kind of a burden in busy Orange County. Can‘t say I’ll miss the worry about fuel contamination either. And now the wife will drive too since the expedition can actually make a u-turn and fit in a normal parking space. Still will miss that truck though.

Fortunautely we bought that truck before all the chip shortages and massive spike in hd truck pricing so we are able to move into this impressive new beast.

Ordered a Platinum Max in forged green with towing, control trac, couple other things.
said start stop couldnt be removed anymore, will have to deal with that later.
Never used the engine block heater in the diesel so didn’t order on this one.

My 4yr old and I installed a ton of things in the truck that I was able to pull out. Will be adding things to this over time and will make some posts when they are done. Air compressor, Baja designs lighting, running board lights, switch pro controller, ham radio, horn, etc. Only found a few threads around some of these so will be making new.

Looks like a lot of stuff carrys over from the f150, superduty, expeditions. I have a few custom brackets for things that should fit like builtright center console panels, sdhq light mounts etc.

Looking forward to this next chapter and sharing ideas on here.

My dealer worked with me, accepts plan pricing and even helped me with some quotes on the totaled truck to work with the insurance companies. Plan pricing would have applied if we ordered a f350 too. Welcomes referrals and places orders that seem to have a great priority number. Could be the trim i ordered but not sure what Ford’s plan is to make these. Either way, we are happy and it was super easy and convenient.

Can’t wait.
Congrats! We have a '19 Max platinum with HD tow (purchased this April) It's the best thing. I got the space I wanted for the kids and groceries and hubby got "it will tow like an f150" if we need it to. We have an f150 and an f350 so probably won't get used much, but it can. We made a 1,000 mile treck this summer. 3 kids all had their own space. There was no fighting. And we did this without any screens. Your family will all love it! Our kids think it's great too! Glad to hear your family is safe! Enjoy your new Max when it arrives.
