how? specifically, how? if the bottom of the differential is still the same height above the ground, how is that an increase in ground clearance? how do these puck spacers move the differential farther from the ground?
I got a 3" lifted 07 Honda crv with the same spacers used as the expedition and I park next to a stock one and I'm noticeable way taller even before i tossed bigger tires on. my mirror sits on top of there's now

This forum has been really helpful. Depicted is my 2012 Expedition EL Limited with rear air suspension. I had a local shop install the Ready Lift 3/2" kit and it turned out amazing. They even retained my factory leveling sensors. The installation technician was not able to simply swap the air shocks from left to right but had to disassemble them and reassemble them to get them to fit after placing the spacer on top of the air shock. As some have stated on this forum, the air shocks have to be rotated (twisted) in order to allow the spacer to fit into the factory tower housing. I ordered some adjustable leveling sensors but didn't need them apparently. The lift actually only gave me about a 1/2" in the rear but I'm still pleased with the results. Wheel and tire setup is the American Force Lone Star wheels, 20x9 +10 offset with Nitto Terra Grapler G2 305/55r20s. I didn't want a really aggressive stance but I get just enough poke with the tires being so wide. Looking to add a supercharger in a few months to complete my mods, maybe a Flowmaster 50 series muffler as well. I still experience some minor rubbing in the front when wheels are at full lock.View attachment 71435View attachment 71436View attachment 71437View attachment 71438View attachment 71439

I have a new Bronco on order but I'm tired of waiting for the dam thing so I'm thinking about a 3rd Gen Expedition as it most likely would be more of what I want as to size. I would like to know what year would be best to look at to slightly lift and do some easy to moderate overland type of wheeling. I have been looking at ecoboost 15-17 only because I have had issues with 5.4l in one of my F150s. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Here’s my baby, just going to get bilstein front and rears with the 3/2 ready lift spacers. Deciding on whiles and tires, first things first though is my 7.3 Godzilla swap.

5.4l 3v is good until it isn’t....was a great engine until a simple issue damn near crippled it and the cost of repair becomes less and less worth it. Go with a eco boost or find a cheap 3rd gen and swap with a reman engine or something else like a 7.3 Godzilla. Everything else is great with these cars as far as I’ve found out. I’m on rough dirt roads romping around almost daily and it’s a savage on the dirt. The 7.3 Godzilla swap is what I’m doing and it’s worth it, more hp, torque, and better reliability.

My 2017 with CCD and a 3/2 lift - loving the way it transformed it. I kept the 22" wheels and went with Falken AT3W's in the stock size. This is primarily a travel vehicle for us - we leave the actual off-roading to the Bronco.Expy2.jpg
