Cover adds 5hp. Haha. When I bought my 2021 Expo I had the dealer include a cover in the deal. I know it’s not needed but I wanted to get as much out of the STEALERship as I can. I even had them give me a rear cargo mat. Why not. I like bonus.

Does anyone have a picture of what the cover is supposed to look like? I have a brand new 21 that doesn't have one either and it kinda looks weird without one. I definitely would be interested in getting one
There are on or two pictures in this thread

I’m with you guys… I like the looks of the engine cover. Was going to get mine painted. But, the installation of the Full Race oil catch can prevents me from being able to mount it.

Came up with an idea to modify it. Even mounted the catch can a little higher for clearance. Then I realized how much of a hassle it would be just to take the engine cover off if I needed access underneath it for some reason if I ran the catch can lines through it. I got rid of that idea.

Also, once I got the Full Race Freak-O-Boost kit installed I realized I’d be covering up my Full Race throttle body spacer. I figured why go through all that trouble just to cover up my hard work. So, I’m not using it at the moment. I’d let one of you guys get it, but it won’t work on your vehicles. Mine is a 2016 EL.

Kinda sucks because I really wanted to paint it, and throw it back on. But, I have gotten used to the “uncovered” look. I just try to keep it as clean as possible. The cover helped hide all the nooks and crannies.

One other thing I wanted it on for was to keep the fuel pump cover in place. Surprisingly, it hasn’t moved. Nothing holds it; just sits on top of the pump on the left valve cover towards the rear. Still hasn’t come up missing.

Yes, my 2021 Limited is also missing the engine cover. I feel that this a silly way to try to reduce costs. I'm going to live with it but wonder what else they skimped on. My truck had a list of $74K and you're scrimping on a plastic engine cover?

I wish it were a stronger plastic material, it's essentially laminated foam.

If you keep it off, do the gotts mod, and take the air silencers/ vortex fins out of your intake tube it’ll sound like a Cummins spooling up to take off to outer space and you’ll get about 27rwhp and 34rwtq
