really Ford just went wrong on the the big milk jug tails with the slope. Look at the Yukon for that masculine look shorter tails with a more straight rear. I won’t say no to a 2018 as long as the price is right. They look good in black.

Well, they're much, much more than they would be if not for the current state of the car market. Heck, it's now considered a "deal" to get a new vehicle for between MSRP and 5% over MSRP. The new gms don't look great to me. Actually, ford took design elements from the 4th gen gms for 4th gen expy Inspiration, gm just copied the body of the fords for their 5th gen design and applied the usual gm front of it.
