Front end update

I have a 2003 XLT. I really like the more aggressive look of the front end (hood, fenders, bumper, grill, ect) of the 2009 - about 2015. Is the metal assemblies interchangeable?

Anyone have experience with this mod?

I am going to suggest not easily done.

You have a second generation 2003-2006. The update you want is from is from a third generation, 2007-2017.

I find asking questions about part swaps such as seats, etc on forums like this, between generations typically don't end with a clear answer to the challenge. Good luck with this and keep us updated on what actions you take and the results on your quest to update the front end of your expedition.

Imho, gen 3 is a step back design-wise. Gen 3.5 is OK, but the bumpers and especially the headlamps for those are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive.

Btw, don't quote me on this, but aren't the fenders the same?
