Is there a way to see the outside temperature on the 8” productivity screen behind the steering wheel? I know it’s on the center screen but I use CarPlay every time I drive the expy and I can’t seem to find it on there. I have it on my civic and work f350s and it’s nice here in Oregon when the temperature can change every mile.

I have tinkered for hours w/ FORScan & I was unable to do this. When using CarPlay, I find that hitting the rear climate control physical button brings up the outside temp for a few seconds. Press that button again to close the rear climate screen & the temp will display again for a few seconds at the top of the 8" Sync screen. Not ideal, but best effort.

Most days, I miss not having a physical “home” button for the sync 3 display. My wife’s minivan does not have a physical “pause/play” button which I also miss.

There is no way of having it displayed currently. I just press the little button on the steering wheel and ask Siri what is the current temperature outside. The nice voice will tell me.
All the MFGs turn the screen over to Apple or Android to display what they want. Some MFGs hold back space to show what they want think the Sync 4 12 inch screen.
Apple or Android could pull up the temp display and place it on the screen if they wanted to.

I know it is sort of silly but this is literally one of the biggest complaints that I have with the expedition. Every other vehicle I have had displayed the temp someplace in the cluster area and not only on the infotainment screen. All my dodge and jeep vehicles have shown it on the dash and it was up all the time. It would be an extremely simple thing for Ford to fix if they cared. I think pretty much every ford owner I have talked to is bugged by the lack of the temp display.
Hell I'd settle for a home button that was on the screen 100% of the time. When you get deeper into the menus (like for instance audio settings) you have to push the back button 3-4 times to get back to the home screen.

I use the audio settings button. That takes you immediately to that screen regardless of where you started, and then you can hit the home button in the top corner. Not the best solution, but it does work.

What's the temperature, Ollie?
I have android auto on my 2019. I don't understand.. when android auto not connected the outside temp is right up top in the center display. When android auto is connected.. it is SOMETIMES there sometimes not. I have no clue how to make it show up.
