I just added wireless charging to my 2017 ford Expedition Platinum. I used a kit from BrandMotion FDMC-1310 and installed it in the tray in front of shifter. I have attached pics, and it comes with wire harness. It has OEM look when installed, QI compatible, and 15W power, 3 coils.

Looks good. I was looking into this a little while back from another company, but never heard back from them so I just dropped the ball on it.

Where does this connect into?

Yes you have to trim to fit, they include a template out of heavy stock paper cut it, and then use on the rubber pad and the substrate to get correct size. You can run power any where you desire, I am going to run it to the fuse box on passenger side kick panel and tap off a fuse. Only change I would make is when drilling hole into rubber tray I would drill closer to bottom of tray instead of in the middle. Although, you can't see it when installed. I will post more pictures when I install it, just waiting for warmer weather. Wiring harness has a fuse installed already.

Here is the final results installed. I used an ATM fuse tap to fit the fuse box, I believe fuse #47 which is not used but had a 5 amp fuse installed, switched to ignition. Works great, and like it came from the factory that way. I would recommend installing wiring first, so that you can just plug it in when you install.

I designed and 3d printed an ABS cell phone holder that uses a 100mm Dia. Samsung wireslss Charger. It mounts above the dash air outlet and doesn't interfere with anything. About half the phone sticks up above the dash, and the camera is still usable like that. Just have to add a piece of velcro at the top of the dash in the inset. The phone sits angled directly toward the driver. I've modified it a few times for new phones and better strength. The one here is one of my firsts.

stl file can be modified for whatever phone or wireless charger.

A much newer version (3/12/21) is at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/cGtn2dwWWfu-truck-mount-s10

For a Galaxy S10 FE with otterbox defender case

These are free BTW. I do it for fun.
