I was hesitant to post a brag thread as a lurker, but got some encouragement in another thread. I've had my 2022 for 1 week and absolutely love it. Answering questions and posting pics here if anyone wants to see anything specific.

Drive is smooth and quiet. Sits up high (coming from a 2019 Ram). The talk of the 15" screen, while understandably subjective, is unwarranted. The bottom 1/3 of the screen is climate control so the portion used for Nav/audio is not any bigger than the standard screen imo. 15" screen is responsive with minimal lag. A couple photos below. Also, thanks everyone for the wealth of knowledge on here.

Have you compared or cross shopped your expy with anything? You came from a ram, did you trade into it? How does it compare to your ram?

So many questions, haha. I'd love to know what top 2-3 things that initially encouraged you to buy it, and did it live up to your expectations so far?

Not sure what you mean by cross shop. I was looking at full sized SUVs, Tahoe, Suburban, Denali, Escalade. Availability was the biggest factor as I sold my ram to take advantage of the used car market. After that I was interested in technology and comfort features. I liked wireless carplay, vented front seats, adaptive cruise control.

Initial impressions are this is a step up from the ram limited trim. Nicer appointments and cozier ride. I like the 10 speed transmission, up from 8 in the ram. Doesn't seem to lack in power compared with the hemi, but I haven't towed anything or been in any street races yet. MPG is an improvment (15 in the Ram, 18.5 so far in the expy), but I am babying it right now. I think I'll end up settling in around 17-17.5mpg.

A few minor knocks so far compared to the ram:
-cigarette lighter does not kill power when turning off the car, which means my dash cam does not turn off with the car.
-adaptive cruise control is a constant fight with the steering wheel, and it periodically cancels itself because it thinks my hands aren't on the wheel. The ram tech was better in 2019.
-you can't customize your quick tabs on the screen. In the ram you could choose your quick access buttons, i.e. one touch backup camera, one touch for your preferred apps.
-in relation to quick access, there is no one button for surround cameras. You have to go into the menu if the parking cameras are not already triggered.
-It sometimes shows the audio playing on the instrument cluster, and sometimes doesn't. Seems like a bug, and obviously a very minor gripe.
@taylor910 congrats and thanks for sharing. What do you think of the colour, I feel like pictures aren't doing it justice.
I wasn't a fan at first but it is growing on me. The King Ranch accent color along the bottom helps. My wife says it is a "dad color".
