Has anyone ever had a battery moniter sensor go bad. Part # ML3Z10C679B ON a 2021 Expedition Max.

I was told by the dealer this is why my battery is going dead.
Have not heard on this forum about that part going bad. I have heard about replacing lots of bad batteries though.
Maybe take to another dealership and get second opinion.

There seems to be a similar issue with the '21 f150, phantom battery drain. Ford is sending dealers and owners new info but does not state what the issue is.
