When's the last time the fluid and filter were changed ?

I would change fluid and go from here.
I have a '14 and the trans fluid & filter replacement is at the 150k service that I just completed. There is a trans dipstick, it is short and hard to get to as is near exhaust on passenger side, other than that it is pretty straight forward.

You disconnect the battery, then jumper the cables to drain the capacitors. Takes 15-20 min. to drain completely. Reconnect and then start truck and let idle with all the acc. off, computer will re-learn idle and then drive it easy to learn the shift points.
