That is not a terrible idea. I like the strategic approach.Well, I think I will order a Platinum Expedition(already ordered)Toyota Sequoia Capstone, and a Lincoln Navigator Reserve(Ordering Monday). Whichever comes in first wins
Are the new Sequoias available to order yet? I would consider one of those since my expedition may never get finished.Well, I think I will order a Platinum Expedition(already ordered)Toyota Sequoia Capstone, and a Lincoln Navigator Reserve(Ordering Monday). Whichever comes in first wins
Well they’re not going to discontinue the Expedition line. Are the new Sequoias available to order yet? I would consider one of those since my expedition may never get finished.
The orders for the Sequoia are not open yet, but should be soon. They are supposed to hit the showrooms in July. Are the new Sequoias available to order yet? I would consider one of those since my expedition may never get finished.
I hope that is true for you. I ordered my Expedition 12/3, and the production date was March 18th. The delivery date was April 9th. I have been calling Marketing every week with the same response, "It's in chip hold status, and has been moved to an undisclosed location." I called Friday, and the rep. told me that Ford likes to get the vehicles "out" within six weeks of the build date, but that will depend on the chip status. She told me to call back the beginning of this week to check on an update on the status of my vehicle. I am hoping there will be a change in the status. One thing is certain, this whole ordeal has been great practice for patience, LOL.Hopefully as long as all the parts are there, and shipping goes smoothly, we should get our cars within a couple of weeks after their build week. My dealer keeps telling me they have a dealer ETA of 5/9, so we’ll see. I ordered back on 1/3/22, and have been chomping at the bit ever since lol
I wouldn't hold your breath. They seem to be building the customer expeditions with what parts they have, and moving them offsite. Mine was built almost 4 weeks ago, and moved offsite. My dealer now says me ETA is 5/18 to arrive. It just got back up 3.5 weeks from 3/29. At this point, their dates and ETA's mean absolutely nothing.Hopefully as long as all the parts are there, and shipping goes smoothly, we should get our cars within a couple of weeks after their build week. This is the same thing I said to the General Manager at my Dealership last Thursday. He has no response back when I said it. I asked him how this would be a "NEW" car at this point. It was silent on the phone after that. For those of us whose vehicles have been parked in the open parking lot and exposed to the elements for weeks/months now, I guess no new car smell for us when we do get the vehicles eventually
Let me know what you hear, I am in the same boat. My delivery date got bumped to 5/18 from 3/29. I also can not track my truck on Fords Site any more either. Comes up and says invalid VIN.I hope that is true for you. I ordered my Expedition 12/3, and the production date was March 18th. The delivery date was April 9th.
