Just got off the phone with marketing…still dreaded microchip hold with an eta of May 9th for the chip. Guess it’ll be June or July before I actually get my new expedition ‍♀️

I did not order my vehicle with the HD Tow. It seems as though the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
You are correct. It was also posted over on Blue Oval that the vehicles coming off the line now are minus the windshield wiper motors, which is the same thing we were told when ours were moved offsite. Seems like the lots may getting more vehicles this week if they are building them incomplete again.

Just call Ford marketing and the dealer. Few additional info related to the rear climate control and multicontour seats :

- They have already scheduled the daily production until May 21st

- If you have already scheduled to production time IS VERY LIKELY you should receive the rear seat climate control and multicontour, unless your dealer tells differently (they would receive this info from Ford directly).

- If you are not yet scheduled the first thing to do is call the dealer and ask the status of your order ; eventually taken those items will expedite your scheduling and build.

- New orders being placed from this time on eventually will need to get those items removed to be scheduled faster; You still have the option to place your order with those items although It is possible they will not be scheduled until the supplies of those items return to normality. The dealer confirmed they got the bulletin.

- If you placed your order in advance (usually linked with some down payment) the price is protect regardless the window sticker. I placed my order in October 15 with X plan and build incentive and paid close to 80 K. Same build today in the Ford site is 88 K (without X plan)

In summary, I would recommend you to contact Ford Marketing and dealer to confirm the info specifically for your vehicle. I feel both are now more informed than the last time I called them a month ago.

Specifically for my build, it is scheduled on May 14th (Saturday). My dealer told me considering expedite delivery from Louisville to Milwaukee would take 2 to 3 weeks so maybe early June.

2022 Model Year Expedition & Ranger - Important Retail Order Bank Update

Inform your teams that the final day to submit new customer retail orders for 2022 Model Year Expedition and Ranger is April 29, 2022

SUMMARY
Expedition and Ranger continue to experience high customer demand, as the daily rate of retail orders has significantly increased over the past several months. • May 5, 2022: Dealers must complete the Retail Order Verification Process by 10pm EDT for new retail orders to be considered for 2022 Model Year Expedition & Ranger scheduling
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
  • We will continue to prioritize existing verified retail orders for 2022 Model Year Expedition & Ranger that have been submitted prior to or on April 29, 2022, pending specific supply/commodity availability
    • WBDO will allow dealers to modify specs on existing retail orders after April 29, 2022

Hi all! I've been checking this site regularly as I've waited for my 303A Max Stealth to show up. Thank you for all adding information to help others. I've finally signed up for the board, as I believe the last bit of information here is new and might help you out.

About me...
- My order is on a White Limited Max 303A Stealth with the only extra option being the reversible cargo mat. MSRP is $73,650 including destination.
- My order date is 1/13/22 and my order number is just under 7800.
- I went into production on 3/22/22, and that date is listed on the window sticker under the "Special Order" section.
- Ford vehicle tracking still lists me as "In Production" with the date of 3/29/22 as of this moment.

Now, this is where things change up a bit. My dealer must not have used my email address, so I get NO updates from Ford. My only updates are from the Tracker (which works only a small fraction of the time and isn't very up to date) or from emailing the Internet Director at my dealer (she's been great, but I feel bad repeatedly asking for updates). She told me on 4/9/22 that I was built but on a "Chip Hold" and my "ETA is 4/25-5/1" and she included the screen grab from Ford.

Interestingly, I was looking at my dealers website last night and there was something NEW! Of the 30 or so Max's listed on their site, MY vin and 2 others had full pics of my make... I think 45 pics. Now, these are created images, but have full likeness of my actual build. So, I reached out and asked for an update... Her response:

"It’s been built! And it looks as though it may have arrived at the train station, though I’m not 100% sure about this. If true, it could be here any day. We will be on the lookout for it."

Exciting stuff for me (or really my wife)!!! But the follow up email to the pics was of most interest, especially considering I'm still "In Production".

"Probably not a concern for you, but you may find interesting… Before we have a VIN, we have to use similar stock photos, so to speak, but once the VIN is established, they’re updated automatically. We use a company called vinREAL that generates the images based on the VIN and updates them according to the updates from Ford. These are the same renderings Ford uses for design purposes. Once they have the VIN, you’ll see it in front of a train, with the note: Not in Stock – In Transit or Currently on Order. Once it hits the train station, Ford considers it here and puts it in front of our building."

I've never seen that last piece. So, I think we can assume that if any of your dealers' use vinREAL, there is relevance to this. Now, I can say that mine went from stock 2021 photo to my build in front of the dealer (with no train pics in the interim). I have seem the train pics on late 2021 builds when we started looking late last year though.

I hope this helps.

I went out to my dealer's website to have a look, and sadly mine is still just a general stock photo. They have a couple of RAPTORs with the train pics, though, so perhaps there is some relevance to this theory. Now I have another website to refresh seventy three times each day. :D

Exactly like that! See the screen grab below. All 3 are 2022's, but the 1st and 3rd and clearly 2021 models (where they are using old stock photos). Mine is in the middle with the updated photos in front of the dealership. Also, note the "On order. Not in stock. Illustration only." comment on the bottom of the 2x 2021 stock images.

Shoot. I was hoping those of us in this build week might have compete vehicles. Back to waiting and saving some cash a few days longer I guess.
