Swapped from Halogen to Mirimoto 2stroke 3.0 LED by recommendation of Headlight Revolution for my 2019 XLT

This is the result... they have been in for over a week but only today fogged.

Was worse... dripping inside...I pulled the bulbs and dried the houseing with a hair dryer for 10min... bone dry clear and pretty. This is 45min later.

Pretty angry to be honest.

I used silicone grease (not glue/sealant) for the o-rings and seals, as well as the dust cover seal area.

Shouldn't be any leaks on any soft goods, but they didn't do this with Halogen.

At this point i am looking for complete LED housing recommendations.. providing they dont do this.....

Any assistance is appreciated.

I’ve had LED’s in mine since December 2019. I’ve never noticed any moisture in the headlight assembly. I live in a high humidity environment, but the daily temperature swing is minimal.

Cannot think of a reason why then. Maybe put the stock back in and see if you have the same issue? Did you have to use new rubber backings on the bulbs or could you reuse the OEM?

Side note, aside from the condensation, how do you like the light output.

You have air leaks in the headlight assembly. Check carefully to see if the assembly has any crack especially in the bottom of the front assembly. I had to replace my headlight due to rock damage and it was a pain. I also check the rubber cover on the back and make sure they are tight. I bought extended rubber when I put in my LED bulbs on Amazon.

My blinker light housing cracked somehow and now gets condensation which then somehow leaks into the whole headlamp assembly. This is now happened 2 times, once to each headllight. Replaced the first one thru insurance and probably gonna have to do it to this one. And its the stock assembly! Seems off the blinker so easily cracks and the it screws the whole lamp
