Today I replaced my Hankook Dyna Pros with 35K and change miles on them. Moved to Michelin Defender LTX M/S tires. I felt an immediate difference in ride pulling out of the parking lot and were much quieter on the road. I wonder if it's because these have new tread not worn out tread the Hankooks had.

31k miles and they got loud. I replaced them with Michelin Defender and the Expedition turned into a different vehicle. Quiet!

Mine lasted about 15K before I changed them.

I probably would have changed them despite getting a lift and different wheels/tires at the time. I was experiencing a lot of slipping during wet driving and I am NOT an aggressive driver when coming to a stop or start. I mean, I have pushed it to see what it can do, but under normal circumstances, I feel I am a good driver.

Glad my 21 came with Pirelli's. Not that they are great, but they are better than the junk Hankook's. I am going to replace them with either a Continental or Firestone A/T tire before next winter.

I just put on a set of Michelin Premier LTX. WOW what a night and day difference. These things are smooth and quiet. Pretty nice tread too. 100% recommend.

I put a set of Continentals Terrain Contact's on mine, because the Michelin's were just a little too much of a road tire for me. My continentals are beautiful, ride smooth, silent, and yet they will dig in the snow and dirt a little bit more than the Michelins. I was afraid of the Michelins smooth road tread because the damn Hankooks were soo smooth and slippery with their road tread.

Just put on defenders and feel like I have a new car. If you would like a softer, smoother ride and good wet traction, would recommend. I would think the new Pirelli 3s would be a good choice too, maybe a bit more “sporty” feel. My only regret, not changing sooner.
