How is the reputation of Fords' Active-X? Will it last?
I have not owned a car with Active-X yet so I can't really talk to it. When I did some research online it sounded like it has held up well on other's cars. Perhaps some others on here can share their experiences with it.

I have a 2019 XLT with the Active-X (heated and cooled), I had real leather (heated and cooled) in my previous Expy EL Eddie Bauer.
And to be honest, I prefer the Active-X. It dosn't get as sticky as the leather and stays softer in the winter.

I have it in my 2020 Expedition XLT. I honestly can't tell much of a difference between it and real leather. The active-x has held up really well and still looks brand new.

My '21 XLT FX4 has the ActiveX seats that are heated and cooled. Steering wheel heats up also. Seems to have power everything except the power pedal adjustment. Not a big fan of too many electronic gadgets anyway!!

Hello All,
I am new to this forum as I am thinking to buy a 2022 expedition.

Seems every dear is charging at least $2500 marks above the MSRP. To save some money, I have lowered my expectation from a limited to XLT.

Now I am thinking to buy a XLT with special edition package and 202A group. What am I missing with this setup from a limited? Except for the 25 horsepower (and ventilate front seats)?

Thank you.
We ended up getting a 22 max xlt, special edition, 202a, max tow with elsd. To get the 360 cameras the xlt needs to have 202a, special edition and max tow options. The active x material is nice and we don't notice a difference from leather. One other thing not included in the xlt is the retractable running boards. We paid 5k under msrp from our local dealer.

Ended up with a 2022 XLT with special edition package, Havey duty towing package, and 202A. Unfortunately paid at the MSRP :( This is still the best price I can find within 100 miles of my location. Thanks all for the discussion and info sharing.

Wow! 5k under MSRP. Great deal in today's market.
