Hi Everyone !!
So, i have looked upon a 2015 V6 3.5L Ford expedition.
The current user is the second user of the car.

I went to have a look at it and it felt amazing and it was really neat and clean and seemed like a very very good car.
However, the check engine light was on and he told me that first user got it checked at the dealership and they said there's nothing wrong with the car but only the catalyst convertor sensor gone bad and the car can be used.
I want to know from the users that is this a serious problem and how do i check into it before i buy the car.
I checked the car and drove it and found nothing unusual with the engine or the drive.
Everything worked perfectly fine and really smooth.
I'm really tempted to buy it.
But i don't know if it's a going to create issues.
Also,i have no experience with Ford vehicles and i don't know how long they last for.
So I'll be grateful if anyone could give me insights on the car and the major issues it can have and how is the fuel economy and maintenance charges.

Thankyou

What is the DTC code on it? It can be as simple as replacing the O2 sensor, or it can be more involved like replacing catalytic converter, repairing exhaust, changing the wiring, or even replacing the PCM.

That said, what is the price point and house much (money/effort/time) are you willing to shell out on it after purchase?

I'm not willing to pay anything for it for a good amount of time after i purchase it.
Also, I'm sorry I'm not into cars at all so i don't know what's DTC code.
Will you be able to explain further?
I'm getting for at around $14400.

You need to stick an OBD2 scanner to the car (socket under the steering wheel) and read the error codes (diagnostic troubleshooting codes or DTC). You can drive the car to AutoZone or O'Reilly and they will do it for free.

If you are not planning to invest any time/money into it (I suggest you should, whether you like it or not, as it might come handy more often than you might prefer and will save you A LOT of money and time), stay away from the cars that have engine check lights on!
