P0320 (DTC) for "Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction". I have replaced the crankshaft positioning indicator and the camshaft positioning indicator. I also have a brand new alternator and a brand new battery. I have no trouble during normal operation...... the truck can gradually reach speeds of 60 mph or more, but whenever there is rapid acceleration around 4000 rpm the truck stalls out. I'm not sure what else there is to do, please advise.

Take a look at the wire harness on the passenger side that passes by the AC plumbing. There have been issues with the wires rubbing on the AC pipes and shorting out. If this is your issue you can wrap some electrical tape around the burned wire and secure it away from the pipe to stop it from shorting out.

@Hamfisted.... Thanks for the tip. Sure enough, the wire was rubbed through. I taped it up then used a bundle tie to suspend it. Hit the road and the same thing is happening

Is it throwing the same code ? The copper of that wire wasn't burned through though right ? But inspect the harness, from the crank sensor to the PCM middle plug and it's pins for loose wire, oxidation or signs of burning. ( Should be pin 30 , 41 for the crank sensor blue (+) and grey (-) wire...) spray the pins and ECM contacts with contact cleaner. I hope the PCM isn't damaged.

Finally checked everything. No broken wire, no ground issue. Don't even have a check engine light. Could the alternator voltage be too much? The manufacturer recommended replacement was 110v or 130v for the 4.6l.....if my memory is correct. I chose the 130v and a deep cycle battery because of my stereo system.

Do you have a fuel pressure test kit that you can observe the fuel rail fuel pressure during acceleration ? You're not getting the P0320 code anymore ? With the ignition in RUN you should see 45-55 psi fuel pressure up there on the rail schrader valve.

Fuel pressure is good. The code is gone. 1st thing to go is all electrical systems. If I let up in time the motor keeps running and the electrical portion starts again. It's like I turned the Ignition off then on‍♂️

Well that sucks, I hate getting faulty replacement parts. Glad to hear it's fixed and thanks for following up on the resolution though.
