New 22 with 200 miles on it. When the vehicle is running in park or in gear, there is a really faint harmonic like hum that changes pitch, up and then down and repeats every few seconds. I mean really faint. The radio and road noise cover it up and it does not appear related to AC from what I can tell as it still does it with the AC off. My wife hears it, so it's not in my head... Any thoughts?

That was my thought. Ask the dealership to temporarily disable the ANC. and drive it a while, see if you still hear it.

Like a fan?

my 22 has 723 miles. Lots of clanks, clicks, buzzing, chiming to get used to.

there‘s a fan I’ve identified beneaththe center console forward storage. Where USB ports and charging pad are.

Mine makes a noise from time to time and I had assumed it was the active noise cancelling from the speakers. Notice it at low speeds mostly.

I'm guessing that ANC is the most likely culprit as nothing else seems to make sense. Will ask the dealer when I'm in in couple of weeks for a "we owe" visit.

A lot of threads talk of turning things on and off - auto lift gate, lighting, various sensors, etc - requiring a trip to the dealer to get them turned off (reprogramming/flashing some chip) . ANC is another one. It would be nice if Ford added a screen with the list of items owners can turn on or off. Simple screen listing items on the left and a slide on-off button, just like many phone apps use to enable/disable features. As a Software Engineer I can't envision this being a difficult thing to add at the next software update. This would allow those that have their vehicles parked for long periods of time (I for one drive my 2003 Expy on average once a week) can disable sensors to keep the battery from running down/low and causing other issues.

If it's high-pitched, I would almost say without a doubt it's your AC seats. I place mine on setting two and it goes away.
