Awesome - thanks so much. just need to order the tape and the toolView attachment 73498
The mirrors were easy - you can slide the wrap tape under the protruding part of the mirror there is plenty of space.
Probably but if you're even a little off on measurements of each strip it'll be noticeable and why make more work and room for error when a single cut for each piece will do? I suppose if you have another immediate use for the remainder of that 5x5 roll it may be worth it but otherwise I'd pass.Sorry dumb question but couldn’t a person just get a 5’x5’ roll and just cut strips? Just trying to wrap my head around a 50’ roll
Sorry I guess I should have asked, I’m guessing that’s not a 50’x5’ roll? I can only buy here is Canada 5’ by whateverProbably but if you're even a little off on measurements of each strip it'll be noticeable and why make more work and room for error when a single cut for each piece will do? Amazon Canada I only can find a 20’x2” 1080 gloss black. BoooI purchased on Amazon. It's a 50' by 2" roll. I used gloss black. I cut the length about 3" longer than each section required. I then used a straight edge and cut a 1 1/4" wide strip. I used the factory 3m cut at the top of the trim then worked my way about 6" at a time. Just be patient and don't worry about trying to do it all at one time. Happy with the results.
Pics please! Need some motivation to do this on mine!I purchased on Amazon. It's a 50' by 2" roll. I used gloss black. I cut the length about 3" longer than each section required. After Pic using 3M 2080 gloss black
Definitely need the 50' roll. The most difficult part is the side back trim which curves around the back. 2080 film is very good and very flexible. I pre-cut the film and did not have to cut down the horizontal length of the trim. Just make sure you have an accurate width to use - I can measure the exact size if anyone would like.

I bought the Black Vinyl from Amazon also (2inch x 50ft) in Gloss. It was really easy. Just do it. It looks better with it black. I did the chrome all the way around the windows and also did the top and bottom of the front grill. Now I just need to black out the Ford emblems.Pics please! Need some motivation to do this on mine!
