My replacement head unit has a camera-in feature with wires for reverse and camera. Being an '08, my truck has the camera in the rearview and not in the dash.

Does anyone know which wires and/or where would need to be tapped/spliced to get the reverse and camera feed to the from the headliner to the head unit?

Hey, I know it's been a few weeks and if you haven't figured this out yet I do have a suggestion. Go look for YouTube channel Five Star Car Stereo. They have a video where they did this with an Expedition. They tested the wires on the ceiling at the mirror and then even had it wrong the first time so you get a full explanation.

I myself just acquired a 2008 King Ranch and just put a new head unit in and I'm really thinking I want to put the rear view camera in the head unit but I haven't made it that far yet.

I have installed a pioneer unit and the rear camera, and still have the factory camera in rear view mirror, on my 2008 Eddie Bauer

I don't want to add a second camera... the camera is already there and has a feed. Just trying to figure out which wires to tap to steal the signal (if anyone here had done that before)
