I was wondering if the stock tires on a 2018 expedition max are any good for towing a camper trailer?

There are multiple brands of stock tires that Expys were delivered with - mine had Michelin Primacy, I've heard others had Hankook. Probably others too. I can say the Primacys were OK - but you have to pump them to max air pressure to minimize sway (and of course all the other factors like WD hitch setting, weight distribution apply as well).
I ended up upgrading to Michelin LTX AT/2 LT tires and haven't regretted it for towing.

A 8 or 10 ply LT rated tire is a better choice for towing a travel trailer. Our TT is around 7500 lbs and the 10 ply BFG's help out a lot running them at 65 psi. Stock Michelins were P rated and had too much side sway with the independent rear suspension.

Went from Load C to Load E for my camper. It was a substantial improvement. The C load can do it, but it's not optimal. The rear squirms and doesnt feel planted.

If you are going to tow anything with a decent tongue weight you should get an LT (light truck) tire with either a load D or E rating.

I towed our 34’ airstream on the stock Hankook tires for two seasons and had no issues. Keep them inflated
