I now see many people on the facebook buying 2022 Expeditions from dealer stock for $1,000 below MSRP, so I'm assuming nobody is stupid enough to pay above MSRP for the same vehicle.

MSRP off the Ford.ca website for that build (assuming no other options ticked other than in the listing) is $92,984 plus tax CDN dollars.

Most dealers in the Washington, DC metro area are $6-10K above MSRP (noted as "Market Adjustment"). I found the one dealership who had an Expedition in stock with the options that I wanted atv MSRP.

One dealership actually had the balls to say that they had a green one about to be built and for a $5000 surcharge, they would change the color to Star White Metallic. I think I actually laughed out loud at her. I could not believe that she said that without hesitation.

I was willing to fly to any dealerships who had one at or below MSRP if I had to. I refused to pay over.

Those are US sites. I don’t think a location in Canada would work.

If I don’t find a buyer, I’ll just not take delivery and get my deposit back. Then the dealer will sell for full MSRP and both taxes (11% total). Buying privately from me would just be a 6% PST tax and no GST.

I live in the DC area. I bet I can guess which dealer quoted the surcharge to change the color, as one seems to be charging $$$$$$ surcharges for on lot or special orders. I got my special order below MSRP from a local dealer and it’s the only reason I ordered.

If it starts with "Ourismann", you are spot on. LOL.

I got mine at MSRP from Koon's Baltimore. If I ordered, they would have allowed my X-Plan discount, but I could not wait.
