Are there any 2018 Expo owners who can share with me a pic of their under-engine cover like the pictures below. I want to compare with mine.

I recently took my 2018 Expo into my local Ford Dealer for an oil change and when I got it back I noticed this under engine cover sagging down. I brought it back to the dealer and the service rep said that this was normal. I walked over to a new-ish 2021 Expo that was for sale on the lot and the under engine cover on it was high and tight. He then told me that ford changed the under-engine covers on the newer models. I don't believe him ... but I wanted to check with other 2018 owners.

Is it not connected in the front or just bent down. I dont have 2018 I have a 2021 but I kind of looks like someone bent it down or its not connceted in the front so they could get to the drain plug with out having to remove it. But that for sure looks like its going to catch some wind going down the road.

Here’s some pics of my 2018. Looks like yours is not connected in the front or the metal bracket is bent downward.

My 2015 (yes - a prior generation model) has push and twist plastic fasteners for the front under engine sound / air baffle.

Several times after returning from a Ford dealer oil change, I have noticed the cover hanging down. Once I returned to the dealer (recovering from surgery) to have it fixed and once I crawled under the vehicle and fixed it myself.

The cover was not fully positioned, then the plastic fasteners seated and rotated to hold the panel.

Just as mine was - your problem was simply poor quality service from the Ford dealer. It probably would have taken the “factory trained technician” one extra minute or less to ensure the baffle was installed correctly.
