If you can find where the Timberline was included, that would be greta to know, but I don't have it in my menu system where the owners manual states the settings should be. Everything points to the Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control only.
Unfortunately, only platinum has it.

Just not a good time to buy a new vehicle right now.

If you can wait - not expecting twins or some of this nature - just wait one year.

Things will be very different by then, economy is slowing down and supply chain is starting easy up.

Conditions may be very different if you can wait.
I bought my Expedition after my first set of twins and before the second set.

Did some more research and your correct the Timberline does not come with Blue Cruise. However it is all the right features installed so when they release it for additional vehicles it should download into the Timberline, for a price.

BlueCruise includes a camera mounted on the dash just to the left of the screen (it watches your eyes to be sure you're looking at the road when the system is active). I assume this is why Ford has said it wont be a feature-add in the future.

Im seeing the light. My 'rush' was because I have an ecoboost taurus that needed the dreaded 3000 dollar timing chain fix. The car is pretty beat and this repair is a sizeable % of the total value of the car. But, realizing that dumping this car to save the 3k but then paying a 20k premium on a new vehicle is not making a ton of sense. I went ahead with the repair and politely asked my kids to stop growing this year and perhaps just double down next year so they will still fit in i

That's why we made the switch from my '08 Taurus X (precursor to the Flex) to a '19 Max, couldn't figure out how to make the kids stop growing. If you figure out the formula please post for the rest of us.

You need the camera, though.

There is a camera on the center of the dash as seen in this picture.

And another on the A pillar. I could not find a good picture, but the glossy part is where the camera resides.

The Timberline doesn't have these pre-installed and I don't see an easy way to add the center dash one. A pillar might be an easy swap of that plastic part, but I think the other requires a different dash.

BlueCruise will not be released in the future for the non-Platinum versions. If you look at the order guide, Platinum includes "FORD CO-PILOT360 ACTIVE2.0" vs. "Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0" and "Ford Co-Pilot360TM Assist+" for other trim levels. These all represent hardware packages. BlueCruise is a software package in addition the the hardware package needed for it, and is listed separately.

I have no idea why we're getting BlueCruise "included" with the price of the vehicle, whereas for my Mach E, I had to specify the hardware package, and (in theory) pay extra for the software to activate it, and only on a subscription basis at that.

I'm still wondering if BlueCruise is included forever. If you look at the live data for Navigation, it's called out as a three year subscription, whereas BlueCruise is listed with no such limitation.
