How many years has a 2001 XLT model lasted?

Greetings! I have rebuilt my vehicle part by part (under the hood) and the engine is the last to go.
I keep the engine lubed and oil changed every 3,000 miles and take care of the maintenance. I am reaching close to 300,000, but would like to know others experience. Does the engine last another 40,000-50,000 miles? More or less? Be glad to know.

I have a 2001 XLT 4.6 L here in central Florida (Florida car) . 94K miles still running strong. Same oil and lube intervals. Took care of a lot of deferred maintenance on tires, brakes and suspension and it drives well. The radiator support bracket has failed due to rust and the burgundy paint is bad on roof and hood. I would check your radiator support bracket unless you are just trying to eek out a couple more years. I am making plans to repaint and keep mine another 50K miles or 5 years, maybe longer and have purchased a NOS radiator support bracket as they are becoming scarce.

I am the original owner of a 2001 Expo XLT 4.6 2wd.Purchased in October 2000 and currently has over 250,000 miles. Original engine, transmission. Oil changed every 5k, trans flush every 100k, coolant flush every 30k. Water pump and ac compressor replaced out of abundance of caution at 220,000 but no problems. 1 alternator,4 sets of spark plugs and coils, complete front suspension refresh abd that’s it over it’s 22 year life. Zero rust, interior like new, not worth anything so I continue to daily drive it. I love it,

2000 EB 5.4, 312,000. Only replaced everything a couple months ago, had it since 2001
