Even anecdotally with dealers saying you messed with the brain? I am not including if you "brick" it and have to go to Ford to fix, I mean cancel it as if it was a tuner?

No issues - I made similar changes to my 2017 F350 (6.7L 4x4)...and that sob was in the shop more than 1/2 a dozen times at 3 different dealers for various warranty stuff including a steering column/steering wheels swap at least 1/2 a dozen batteries and a leaking upper oil pan...not a single word was ever said.

I even had the NavTV OnDemand Camera system - I recorded the mechanic and his supervisor on a check ride - they both said they hadn't seen that before and wondered how it was done.

Is my question as well for my Expy 2020 XLT 202a under warranty.

Will the dealer, upon the next scheduled visit, would have a way of knowing that factory or dealership settings have been tampered or modified ?. I guess they can if they compare the car current config values with an earlier snapshot taken at the previous visit. But this may be demand driven, meaning they may only be taking a stock config snapshot if there is a pressing need to do so for any parameter tuning.

Will have to experiment to get certain about it.
