Picked mine up today, finally, after 6+ months of waiting (11/24/21 order date).

Limited 4x4
304A Stealth Performance Pkg
HD Tow
CCD
ControlTrac
15.5" screen

Traded in my '19 Expedition Limited 4x4, the ownership of which turned into an clusterf!@# of epic proportions dealing with Ford and their complete inability to competently provide spare parts in a reasonable timeline. Long story short, my '19 has been out of service/at the servicing dealership for 3 out of the last 6 months. 3 consecutive trips for the same issue (CCD sensor/connectivity issue that trips a fault/error message while driving) starting in December of 2021, and is still there now for 6 weeks and counting on this latest service visit.

Ford has sent the wrong parts 2x in a row, and the 3rd replacement parts shipment is at least a month out (we all know how good Ford is at estimating ETAs). Thankfully the dealer I purchased from/traded in to (different from the dealer that is servicing the '19) was incredibly helpful in facilitating the trade-in even though they have no idea when they'll officially receive it.

If this Expedition turns into a lemon like my '19, I'll officially be done with Ford. It's beyond absurd to charge $80+K for a non-luxury SUV, and have a warranty that is effectively useless because spare parts are never available, loaners are never available, and the owner is expected to just deal with it with no help from FoMoCo.

Fingers crossed

This totally slipped my mind but does your vehicle have the keypad on the door to lock/unlock?? All of my past ford expedition/trucks have always had this feature and I love it when needing access without keys.

Mine does. I have not heard that this feature is on the chip shortage cutting block. Have you?

I happened to come across a Max 304A locally and picked it up 5/31. Not sure how long ago the dealer ordered it, but they're trickling off the line.

Does the 304a package eliminate the auto start stop? I can't seem to find any evidence for our against that.

No, for some reason it’s the package where it CANNOT be deleted.
I knew it couldn't be deleted but what I didn't know was if it was already deleted as part of the 304a package therefore nothing to delete.

God I hope so, but that is not the impression I'm under.

Ironically, the Timberlines (same engine as the SPP models) cannot have it deleted on the website configurator, but mine has it deleted from the factory.

Maybe a dealer has the magic sauce to get it removed from an order.

Mine could not be deleted on the SPP, this was through the dealer.

Same with my 22 F150 5.0, BUT when that arrived the factory had deleted it and credited my purchase.
