I wondered what this issue was with the noise at start up for us. Our 2019 has about 80,000 miles on it. We bought it used as a certified vehicle from a dealer in Riverside California but I believe have still warranty up to 100,000 miles. Where was your dealer and was your repair covered under warranty? Anyone else that has dealt with this was it also covered under warranty? Thanks.

It's not just you. I ran 93 for 20k miles on my brand new '19 Platinum and never had an issue. Switched to 87 for 3000 miles and the truck bogged, motor was louder idle, and gas mileage decreased.
Switched back to 93 for the last 2k miles and everything is back to normal. The truck has 25k miles. Took it to the local Ford store this morning for the PCM updates. We'll see what happens in the next 10k miles...
I have gone to the CO and MT and back to NC twice now in my 2021 and 87 gets a couple of miles per gallon worse for me its been 2-4 mpg less than 93. I have tested it many times I mostly run 93 you get the best gas milage on it with 93. Going to FL soon from NC and will be using 93 to get the max range I can before having to fill up again.
I run 91 in my '18 and developed the rattle around 35-37k miles. Had the cam phasers replaced under the powertrain warranty soon after the rattle developed. Ford had my expy for about 3 days -- including diagnosis. I'm at about 68k miles now and all has been good so far...
