Lost front wipers a couple weeks ago, and am just now getting free time to tear apart/diagnose.

The hose from the reservoir to the front washer seems to be broken or disconnected under the cowl.

I don't have pictures, but it appears the hose popped apart at a joint, but it doesn't seem possible to snap it back together.

Any ideas? Anyone know the part number for a new hose assembly?

Edited to add found a picture in a YouTube video:

That's the joint the has disconnected.

Update, was able to easily fix this.

Once I dug in more, and removed the wiper arms and the cowl, I was able to disconnect the hose at other junction points, and was able to snag a cheap hose barb/junction at NAPA, and replace the broken junction/check valve, and my front wipers work perfectly again (after reassembling everything).

Thank you!

I had the same issue as you, it’s actually a one way (anti return) valve, but was very easy to replace. The plastic just became old and brittle and broke, allowing the valve to fall apart..

Did you replace with the proper valve? Is there any benefit to doing so?

The one-way check valve keeps the washer hoses and nozzles “charged”, so when you turn on the washer fluid switch - it sprays almost immediately.

If the check-valve is eliminated, the washer fluid can slowly drain back to the reservoir and cause a delay in the fluid spraying from the nozzles.
