I am looking at ordering a expedition Max limited. It has most of everything I want but have some questions.

From Ford’s website Selecting heavy duty tow package eliminates the active park assist 2.0 in the limited but not the platinum? Will this be the same at the dealer? If so what do you get with standard towing with the limited and can the one brake controller be installed and programmed to work correctly?

What are the major differences between copilot 360 assist 2.0 and active 2.0?

Any new options for 2023 that I should look at adding?

Thanks for all of the help?

The Ford website IMO isn't very good. I suggest you look at the order guide below. I believe this is still the latest and it'll help explain to some degree what the packages include. They haven't released the 2023 order guide yet so no one knows what the changes will be. Since they just did the refresh for 2022 odds are it won't change dramatically.

Active park assist 2.0 is the auto parallel parking features, blue cruise is only available on the platinum for 2022. I’d love to have the auto parallel parking feature but saw better value of increasing the towing from the 5k lbs to the 9.2k lbs.

thanks for all the help, I believe this is a mute point. looking at fords build web site it shows that active park assist 2.0 Removal is required on everything. 501A 303A 304A 303A 600A 400A. Looks like I'll just add the tow package. Do any of you know if they include the prep package where it could be added later if the chip situation was to improve?

Strange, my 21 w/ HD tow has the park assist feature. Both parallel and perpendicular.

I have a '20 limited to demo right now and it has both, I guess they split them up in 2022. both the website and the pdf linked above show them as either or.

Looking at the pdf above it looks like ford has pulled several features from the expedition even the platinum isn’t spared.
Any idea if MY2023 will be better or worse?
