Sounds like a trend here called the Carolina squat. The front end is lifted 6-8" above the rear resulting in a vehicle where you can barely see over the hood. The funny thing is it started in North Carolina and they have now banned it.

I like lifted trucks, our Expedition is my first truck without a lift. I'd love to do a solid axle swap on it and 38's.

Maybe this 8" Rize lift is still available.

Unless you can find that old Rize lift, which was discontinued, the max I have seen for the Exp is 3.5 inches, which isn't enough for you. The only way I can think of to get close to 8 inches is tear out the IFS and install a live axle in the rear with leaf springs or I guess maybe coils. It would be work and money, but you could lift it as much as you want. The offroad shops down here do stuff like that every day. If you are on Instagram, check out george_bwrenching, he put a live axle w/leaves on the FRONT of his 02 F150, which is way more complicated than swapping the rear. Just an example of what is possible. Let us know what you end up doing.

The 3 " body lift is a great step and looookss awesome buddy. I did it myself in the driveway.. I didn't have to extend the steering just had to loosen the skews on the gas filler ( where the gas cap is)
